Trial Team Earns Premises Liability Defense Verdict in North Mississippi

The Northern District of Mississippi, Oxford Division, recently ruled in favor of a HAT LAW trial team in a premises liability matter. The team, which included attorneys Michael Phillips, Claire Robinett and Kate Jurey, successfully defended their client, Tractor Supply.

In the case, the plaintiffs, a husband and wife, alleged that a dangerous condition existed on Tractor Supply’s premises. The plaintiffs claimed that the condition resulted in extensive injuries to the man and caused his wife to suffer loss of consortium and services as a result of her husband’s injuries. After a three-day trial, the court returned a unanimous verdict in favor of Tractor Supply.
